"The Victorians and Literary Theory"
Proposals may address British Victorian fiction,
poetry, drama, or non-fiction, but the emphasis should be on literary/critical
theory and/or the history of literary criticism. In keeping with the
conference theme of "Familiar Spirits," this special session
aims to reflect on the continuing value of Victorian literature to those who
engage with literary theory.
Submission Deadline: The deadline for proposing papers
to the approved sessions will be March 31, 2014. Proposals should be
submitted via the online submission form to be available at the following
